Team Biden-Harris just launched Health Care Providers for Biden-Harris! Check out our HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS FOR BIDEN TOOLKIT for more information and resources on how to take action this week.
Join us for a Health Care Providers for Biden-Harris National Call this Thursday, 5/16 at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT. RSVP HERE and please feel free to share this invitation and the TOOLKIT with those in your network!
This week, the Biden-Harris campaign is highlighting the stakes for health care in this election. Donald Trump has vowed to “terminate” the Affordable Care Act, which would rip away health care from millions of Americans who rely on the program, and he’d side with his Big Pharma donors to increase costs for working families.
Meanwhile, President Biden and Vice President Harris have taken historic action to expand access to health care for more Americans and lower health care costs for working families, including by lowering the cost of prescription drug prices. Join our efforts to make sure every single voter understands what’s at stake this November.

Morgan Mohr, Senior Advisor for Reproductive Rights for the Biden-Harris Campaign pointed out that Trump is responsible for this chaos. He is ready to ban abortion and prosecute and punish, which means a national abortion ban is on ballot in all 50 states! As nurses we have very special trusted voices, and we have power! Speak, write, VOLUNTEER, talk to friends and family and let them know what is at stake! Use the Biden/Harris Reproductive Rights Toolkit Let Morgan know if you would like to speak out at events and tell your stories Emailing us at info@nursesforamerica.net and we will let Morgan know you are available to speak.
Dr. Shelly Tien, Ob/Gyn and Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Genesis MFM Arizona, Planned Parenthood South, East and North Florida, Trust Women Kansas, knows that nurses are at the bedside and have vital voices speaking the truth about healthcare and the effects on patients’ lives. Planned Parenthood across this county are mostly staffed with nurse practitioners, so we really are on the frontline of this issue! Abortion is only one small part of reproductive care. We cannot jeopardize the health of all pregnancy-capable people. Bans also affect providers, are dangerous, and exacerbate women’s health deserts, and threaten health equity. Florida had been the last resource for reproductive freedom in the south and now is no longer. Dr. Tien advised us to make people aware of the importance of voting YES on Amendment 4 in in FL https://floridiansprotectingfreedom.com
Julie Core CRNA, Board Member of Ohio Physicians for Reproductive Rights discussed her involvement in OPRR and highlighted the importance of nursing voices and activism. She explained the citizens’ amendment process, which is the way to protect reproductive rights. Nurses Voices POLL VERY WELL!! We carry weight. Reproductive rights go beyond Roe— We must spread the word about Joe Biden, engage in organized fight, post online, and identify patients and providers who can tell their stories. We must raise our voices.!
